Thinkru Hydrogen Energy UAV Solution
1、Project Overview
This solution aims to design a drone powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. By
leveraging the high energy density of hydrogen and the high efficiency of fuel cells, it
achieves long-endurance and zero-emission flight missions. This drone can be used
as a demonstration teaching tool in universities.

UAV Hydrogen Fuel Cell System

Fuel Cell Stack: Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) is adopted. The
power is selected as a bare stack of 3500W according to the UAV's requirements, and the total
power of two stacks in series is 7000W. Excluding the parasitic power consumption of the stack
fan and controller, the net output of the system needs to reach 6000W. The following are the
parameters of a single stack.

Hydrogen Supply System: It is selected as a 12L capacity aluminum-lined carbon fiber fully
wrapped gas cylinder, pressure reducing valve, flow controller, etc., for drones to ensure the
stable supply of hydrogen.

Pressure Reducing Valve for UAV

The pressure reducing valve for UAVs can be used as a multifunctional valve
in hydrogen fuel cell UAVs, mobile power supplies, etc., and is used in conjunction
with gas cylinders (defined as working gas cylinders). Its main functions include
inflating the gas cylinder, opening and closing the gas inside the cylinder to the
outside, and reducing the pressure of the high-pressure gas in the cylinder for
output to the downstream hydrogen fuel cell.
